This study reports that circB3GNTL1 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and AGS gastric cancer cells. Functional knockdown experiments indicate that circB3GNTL1 promotes gastric cancer cell proliferation and glutamine decomposition/glutaminolysis while inhibiting apoptosis, at least partly through targeting and regulating miR-598.
