| Associated gene: |

| Associated microRNA: |
miR‐630 |
| Biological function: |
Associated with less advanced Enneking stage, good neoadjuvant chemotherapy response, and longer disease-free survival in osteosarcoma patients. |
| Molecular mechanism: |
Negative correlation with miR-630 in tumor tissue; potential miRNA sponge relationship suggested but not experimentally validated in this study. |

| Validation methods: |
RT-qPCR; RNase R Treatment; Clinical Sample Validation; Survival Analysis |
| Clinical significance: |
Lower in tumor vs adjacent non-tumor tissue; higher tumor expression associated with less advanced Enneking stage, good neoadjuvant chemotherapy response, and longer disease-free survival (DFS). |
| Description: |
In osteosarcoma patient tissues, circ-MTO1 is down-regulated in tumors versus adjacent non-tumor tissues. Higher tumor circ-MTO1 levels correlate with milder disease (lower Enneking stage), better neoadjuvant chemotherapy response, and longer DFS, and circ-MTO1 is negatively correlated with miR-630 expression. |
