In HCC cell lines and nude mouse models, circ5379-6 overexpression suppresses proliferation, migration, invasion, tumorigenesis and metastasis while inducing apoptosis. Its inhibitory effect is associated with partial reversal of EMT-related changes, including decreased MMP-9, Vimentin and N-cadherin and increased E-cadherin. |
