circUBE3A(2,3,4,5) is a human UBE3A-derived circRNA downregulated in prostate cancer tissues and associated with more aggressive clinicopathological features. It acts as a tumor suppressor by binding AUF1, promoting AUF1 nuclear translocation, destabilizing MTHFD2 mRNA, lowering MTHFD2 and vimentin expression, and thereby inhibiting proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT, and metastasis.
