Description:

circITCH (hsa_circ_0001141), derived from ITCH, is down-regulated in HCC cells and mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It suppresses HCC malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration, invasion) and promotes apoptosis, partly by sponging miR-184; miR-184 rescue attenuates circITCH’s tumor-suppressive effects. In a cell line-derived xenograft model, circITCH overexpression inhibits tumor growth.
