This study reports that circUBAP2 is upregulated in ESCC tumour tissues and ESCC cell lines. Mechanistically, circUBAP2 acts as an oncogenic ceRNA by sponging miR-422a and regulating Rab10, suggesting potential therapeutic relevance in ESCC.
