Description:

circPLK1 is upregulated in TNBC, especially in non-pCR patients after anthracyclines-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy. It promotes doxorubicin/anthracycline resistance by sponging miR-940 and thereby increasing ETS1 expression, leading to enhanced survival/colony formation and reduced apoptosis. High circPLK1 is associated with poorer DFS/OS and may serve as a prognostic/pharmacodynamic biomarker.
