CircPVT1 may provide an advanced target for clinical therapy in GBM.
hsa_circ_PVT1/circPVT1 is up-regulated in GBM tissues. In GBM cell lines, circPVT1 knockdown suppresses viability, migration, EGF-induced EMT and PI3K/AKT/YAP1-related signaling while promoting apoptosis, largely through up-regulation of miR-199a-5p. The study suggests circPVT1 as a potential therapeutic target for GBM.
