High circASAP1 expression is associated with HCC pulmonary metastasis/recurrence, poorer overall survival, higher cumulative recurrence, and prognostic prediction in patients with HCC.
circASAP1 is an up-regulated human circRNA in metastatic/recurrent HCC and is associated with pulmonary metastasis and poor prognosis. It promotes HCC proliferation, invasion, tumor growth, and lung metastasis by sponging miR-326 and miR-532-5p, thereby increasing MAPK1 and CSF-1 signaling and enhancing tumor-associated macrophage infiltration.
