Description:

circZCCHC2 is up-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and its high expression predicts worse overall survival. Functionally, circZCCHC2 promotes proliferation and metastatic behaviors and enhances xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-936 to increase BTBD7 and activate the Rho/ROCK2 pathway (with downstream changes such as ROCK2, MMP-2 and MMP-9).
