EBV-encoded circRPMS1 is up-regulated in EBV-positive and metastatic NPC and correlates with shorter OS/DFS. Functionally, circRPMS1 promotes NPC cell proliferation, invasion, tumor growth and EMT while suppressing apoptosis, mainly by sponging miR-203/miR-31/miR-451 (and reported binding to additional miRNAs in screening). |
