Description:

circHIPK3 is upregulated in PBMC and serum samples from CML patients and high serum circHIPK3 expression predicts poor overall survival. Functionally, circHIPK3 acts as an oncogenic circRNA in CML by promoting proliferation and suppressing apoptosis of CML cells. Mechanistically, the study suggests a circHIPK3/miR-124 axis involving downstream miR-124 targets such as B4GALT1 and p65.
