Description:

circPTEN is downregulated in HCC tissues and low expression is associated with poorer survival and aggressive clinicopathological features. Functionally, circPTEN suppresses HCC proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT, tumor growth, and metastasis. Mechanistically, EIF4A3 negatively regulates circPTEN biogenesis, while circPTEN acts as a miR-1289 sponge to relieve suppression of RBM38.
