circ_0058051 (derived from BARD1) is up-regulated in HCC tissues and mainly localized in the cytoplasm. Its silencing via siRNA (delivered by a magnetic SPION-based nanoplatform) suppresses HCC cell proliferation/colony formation and migration in vitro and inhibits xenograft tumor growth in vivo; high expression is associated with worse patient prognosis.
