Description:

circ-FAM53B is upregulated in ovarian cancer tissues and cell lines and is associated with clinical severity and poor prognosis. Functionally, it promotes proliferation, migration and invasion while suppressing apoptosis in OC cells. Mechanistically, cytoplasmic circ-FAM53B acts as a ceRNA for miR-646 and miR-647, increasing VAMP2 and MDM2 expression to drive OC progression.
