Description:

This study found that circulating exosomal circAKT3 is up-regulated in serum exosomes from HCC patients compared with healthy subjects. High exosomal circAKT3 is associated with larger tumors, microinvasion, higher recurrence and mortality, and poorer overall and recurrence-free survival, supporting its potential role as a non-invasive prognostic biomarker for postoperative HCC monitoring.
