Description:

circSATB1 (hsa_circ_0064557) is up-regulated in CRC, especially in cases with liver metastasis, and high expression predicts worse OS/PFS. It promotes CRC migration/invasion and liver metastasis by scaffolding RNF25 and FKBP8 to enhance RNF25-mediated K48 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of FKBP8, thereby activating mTOR signaling. circSATB1 is also detectable in plasma exosomes and has diagnostic value for CRLM.
