circFAT1 is upregulated in endometrial cancer tissues and functions as an oncogenic circRNA in this study. It promotes EC cell stemness by increasing miR-21 expression through reduced methylation of the miR-21 gene, and miR-21 inhibition suppresses the stemness-promoting effect of circFAT1.
