Description:

circHIPK3 is up-regulated in gallbladder cancer and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration/invasion, angiogenesis) while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it binds and stabilizes the RBP ALYREF by reducing its ubiquitination, which in turn stabilizes FASN mRNA and increases FASN expression, driving angiogenesis and anti-apoptotic effects.
