circ-UBAP2 (hsa_circ_0007367) is up-regulated in PAAD and is proposed to function in a ceRNA network by inhibiting hsa-miR-494, thereby increasing expression of hub genes such as CXCR4, HIF1A, ZEB1 and SDC1. The circUBAP2-mediated network is linked to immune-cell infiltration and immune escape features in PAAD.
