Description:

circLMNB1 (hsa_circ_0127801, from LMNB1) is up-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues and CRC cell lines. Functional assays show that circLMNB1 promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration/invasion, EMT) and suppresses apoptosis, partly accompanied by changes in EMT/apoptosis-related proteins (E-cadherin, N-cadherin, MMP2/9, Bax, caspase-3). It is proposed as a potential diagnostic biomarker for CRC.
