This study developed a CHA-PER-DNAzyme fluorescence assay for ultrasensitive and specific detection of circMTO1. circMTO1 was detected at lower levels in HepG2 liver cancer cells and in whole blood from HCC patients compared with controls, supporting its potential clinical utility as an HCC-associated biomarker.
