Description:

circOMA1 is upregulated in cabergoline-resistant PRL-PitNET and in patient plasma exosomes. It promotes and transmits cabergoline resistance by sponging miR-145-5p, increasing KBTBD7 to enhance DRD2 ubiquitination/degradation, thereby weakening cabergoline-induced autophagy and AKT inhibition; it also enhances tumor cell proliferation under cabergoline treatment.
