circSFMBT2 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and HGC-27 cells. In paeonol-treated gastric cancer cells, circSFMBT2 overexpression counteracts paeonol-induced suppression of proliferation, migration, invasion and glutamine decomposition and reduces apoptosis, at least partly through negative regulation of miR-665.
