It promotes ovarian cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and enhances tumor growth and metastasis in vivo by sponging miR-195-5p to de-repress BIRC5 (Survivin) in a ceRNA axis. High circMYBL2 expression is associated with reduced overall survival in ovarian cancer patients.
