Description:

circFNDC3B (hsa_circ_0006156), derived from FNDC3B, is up-regulated in PTC tissues, PTC cell lines, and patient serum exosomes. Functionally it promotes proliferation, migration/invasion, cell-cycle progression and tumor growth while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically it acts as a ceRNA sponge for miR-1178/miR-1178-3p, thereby relieving repression of TLR4 and promoting PTC progression.
