CircRBMS3 is upregulated in bone metastasis breast cancer tissues and high circRBMS3 expression is associated with poor 3-year overall survival; it might be a potential prognostic marker.
CircRBMS3 is upregulated in bone metastasis breast cancer and high expression is associated with shorter 3-year overall survival. Functionally, circRBMS3 promotes breast cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and bone metastasis-related osteoclast/bone resorption gene expression. Mechanistically, the study proposes a circRBMS3-miR-654-3p-mRNA ceRNA network, with AKT1 highlighted as a potential downstream hub.
