Description:

circ_0008043 (circPTGR1), derived from PTGR1 exons 5-9, is up-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and mainly localizes to the cytoplasm. It promotes HCC cell viability, migration/EMT and lung metastasis by acting as a ceRNA sponge for miR-661, thereby relieving miR-661-mediated repression of PLEKHG4B; ESRP1 enhances circ_0008043 biogenesis.
