Description:

circITCH is down-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines, especially in sorafenib-resistant HCC cells, and low circITCH expression is associated with poorer prognosis. Functionally, circITCH overexpression enhances sorafenib sensitivity, promotes apoptosis, and suppresses migration in sorafenib-resistant HCC cells by sponging miR-20b-5p, increasing PTEN, and inhibiting PI3K/Akt signaling.
