Description:

circIMP3 is up-regulated in prostate cancer tissues and patient peripheral blood and is associated with poorer event-free survival. It encodes the peptide circIMP3_288aa and promotes prostate cancer proliferation and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it drives alternative splicing of FBXW7, reducing c-Myc ubiquitination and stabilizing c-Myc, and it can be transferred via exosomes to enhance recipient-cell proliferation within the tumor microenvironment.
