Description:

circPOLD1 is progressively up-regulated from normal cervix to HSIL and CSCC and acts as an oncogenic circRNA. It directly binds the RBP YBX1, promotes YBX1 phosphorylation, and activates AKT/mTOR/HIF-1alpha-associated glycolysis to enhance cervical cancer cell proliferation and tumor growth; it also shows diagnostic potential in tissue (BaseScope) and serum (ROC).
