Combined serum circFARSA with circBANP could distinguish patients with tumor recurrence from those without, with an AUC of 0.737; circFARSA was also significantly increased in BC versus controls.

Description:

Serum circFARSA was up-regulated in bladder cancer patients and also higher in recurrent BC than in non-recurrent patients. The study suggests circFARSA, particularly combined with circBANP, may serve as a noninvasive prognostic biomarker for BC recurrence, with predicted miRNA-sponge activity toward miR-382-5p.
