circSCMH1 is down-regulated in high-metastasis gastric cancer and suppresses GC proliferation and metastasis. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-296-3p to upregulate HSPB7, which promotes GLUT3 ubiquitination/degradation, inhibits glycolysis, and attenuates EMT-related malignant phenotypes. Clinically, low circSCMH1 is associated with lymph node metastasis and worse overall survival. |
