Description:

circPI4KA is overexpressed in PTC tissues and cell lines and functions as a pro-cancer circRNA. It promotes PTC cell proliferation, migration, invasion, glycolysis and in vivo tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis, mainly through sponging miR-1287-5p to increase NRP2 expression. Clinically, its expression is associated with TNM stage and lymph node metastasis.
