Description:

circCREBBP is a human CREBBP-derived circRNA that is downregulated in ESCC radioresistant tissues and cells. It enhances radiosensitivity by m6A-dependent competitive binding to IGF2BP3, thereby reducing IGF2BP3-mediated MYC mRNA stability. Functionally, circCREBBP knockdown promotes radioresistance and tumor growth after irradiation, whereas overexpression suppresses survival and increases apoptosis in ESCC cells.
