| Clinical significance: |
High expression of circ_515 was associated with worse survival of patients and correlated with advanced tumor node metastasis stage, poor tumor differentiation, and increased lymph node metastasis. |
| Description: |
In NSCLC, circ_515 is up-regulated and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration/invasion, EMT, tumor growth) while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it mainly acts as a cytoplasmic ceRNA that sponges miR-296-5p to de-repress RNF44, forming a circ_515/miR-296-5p/RNF44 axis. High circ_515 expression is associated with worse patient survival and more aggressive clinicopathological features. |
