Description:

circSTX6 (hsa_circ_0007905), derived from STX6, is up-regulated in HCC tumor tissues and predicts worse survival. It predominantly localizes to the cytoplasm where it binds HNRNPD, enhancing HNRNPD-mediated ATF3 mRNA decay, thereby promoting HCC proliferation and metastasis; its expression is modulated by METTL14-dependent m6A modification.
