In colorectal cancer, circNRIP1 is downregulated in tumor tissues but elevated in blood exosomes and can serve as an early diagnostic biomarker. Functionally, circNRIP1 suppresses CRC proliferation/stemness and xenograft tumor growth by binding IGF2BP1 (KH1/2), inhibiting its m6A reader activity and reducing NACC1 mRNA stability; circNRIP1 export may involve the hnRNPK-exosome pathway.
