Description:

circMYC is up-regulated in SCLC tissues and cell lines and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration, invasion) while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, circMYC is mainly cytoplasmic and acts as a ceRNA that sponges miR-145 to de-repress MMP2, forming a circMYC/miR-145/MMP2 axis associated with poor prognosis.
