Description:

circCCDC7(15,16,17,18,19) is down-regulated in prostate cancer and lower in higher Gleason score and metastasis. Its higher expression is associated with better patient outcome. Functionally, circCCDC7 suppresses PCa cell viability, migration/invasion and xenograft growth mainly by encoding a secreted peptide (circCCDC7-180aa) that upregulates FLRT3 and mediates tumor-suppressive effects.
