circARNT2 is upregulated in HCC, especially in cisplatin-resistant tissues/cells, and promotes malignant phenotypes and cisplatin resistance. Mechanistically, circARNT2 sponges miR-155-5p to increase PDK1 expression, affecting autophagy and leading to reduced cisplatin sensitivity. High circARNT2 is associated with aggressive clinicopathologic features and poorer overall survival. |
