This study identified serum exosomal hsa_circ_0001359 as continuously differentially expressed between BPD and non-BPD preterm infants and validated it by RT-qPCR. Its day-7 expression showed strong predictive performance for BPD (AUC 0.853; adjusted OR 6.033). A potential mechanism was bioinformatically predicted: hsa_circ_0001359 may sponge let-7 and relate to TGF-beta signaling, but this was not experimentally confirmed. |
