| Clinical significance: |
high circPFKP expression was correlated with higher D'Amico risk classification, higher N stage, and higher prognostic stage group, suggesting potential poorer prognosis and diagnostic/therapeutic application in PCa |
| Description: |
circPFKP is a PFKP-derived circRNA up-regulated in prostate cancer tissues and associated with adverse clinicopathological features. It promotes PCa cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and G1/S cell-cycle progression, at least partly by interacting with IMPDH2 and enhancing the IMPDH2/guanine nucleotide axis. Its biogenesis is promoted by flanking Alu elements and regulated by hnRNPF. |
