Circ-SWT1 is down-regulated in AMI blood samples and in H 2 O 2 -stimulated human AC16 cardiomyocytes. Its overexpression protects cardiomyocytes from H 2 O 2 -induced apoptosis, oxidative stress and ER stress by sponging miR-192-5p and derepressing SOD2, suggesting potential therapeutic relevance in AMI. |
