In B[a]P-exposed HCC models, circ_0011496 (circCSMD2) is up-regulated and enriched in tumor-derived exosomes. After delivery to lung fibroblasts, it sponges miR-486-5p, increases TWF1 and downstream MMP9/VEGF signals, promoting CAF-like activation, angiogenesis, and lung-specific metastasis.
