Description:

This study used circMTO1 as the target circRNA for a single quantum dot-based FRET nanosensor and showed that circMTO1 expression is lower in breast cancer tissues than in healthy para-carcinoma tissues. The assay results were consistent with qRT-PCR and achieved ROC AUC = 1 for distinguishing breast cancer tissues from healthy counterparts, supporting circMTO1 monitoring as a potential diagnostic application.
