High circ-N4BP2L2 expression predicted unfavorable prognosis and was linked to advanced clinical stage and positive lymph node metastasis in NSCLC patients.
circ-N4BP2L2 is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines, and high expression is associated with advanced clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis. Functionally, it promotes NSCLC proliferation, invasion, mitochondrial function, and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ-N4BP2L2 sponges miR-135a-5p to increase ARL5B expression, forming a circ-N4BP2L2/miR-135a-5p/ARL5B ceRNA axis.
