Description:

circNF1-419 was selected as a target after G. lucidum extract L3 increased its expression in U87 astroglioma cells. Overexpression of circNF1-419 inhibited astroglioma cell growth and xenograft tumor growth, promoted apoptosis, and altered lipid metabolism through glycerophospholipid metabolism and retrograde endocannabinoid signaling with changes in metabolic regulators including L-VOCC, PLCbeta3, Mucin1, CAT4, CAT1, AKAP4, and PTDSS1. The study proposes circNF1-419 as a potential therapeutic target for astroglioma.
