Description:

circAHSA1 (hsa_circ_0032777), derived from AHSA1, is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues, serum, and GC cell lines. It promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration, invasion) and inhibits apoptosis with effects on cell-cycle distribution. It is mainly cytoplasmic and is predicted (bioinformatically) to interact with miR-647 and miR-661, and it shows diagnostic utility in serum (ROC/AUC) and association with clinicopathologic features.
