circ-CSPP1 (hsa_circ_0001806) is upregulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and predicts poorer overall survival. Functionally, it promotes proliferation, colony formation, migration, invasion and xenograft growth. Mechanistically, circ-CSPP1 sponges miR-577 to increase CCNE2 expression, influencing downstream cell-cycle related proteins (e.g., p-Rb/E2F1/c-myc).
